Given any topological dynamical system, in 2012 Feng and Huang introduced the measure-theoretical lower and upper entropies for arbitrary Borel probability measure, and proved the variational principle concerning Bowen topological entropy (packing topological entropy, respectively) and the measure-theoretical lower entropy (upper entropy, respectively). In this talk, we will discuss the existence of measures with maximal entropy for both Bowen and packing topological entropies of subsets (in h-expansive systems). We will also discuss a little bit about the possibility of defining the measure-theoretical entropies using partitions. This is a work in progress, joint with Xulei Wang.

张国华,复旦大学教授、博士生导师。主要研究动力系统的复杂性理论和可数离散群作用动力系统的熵理论。在Mem. AMS, J. Reine Angew. Math., Adv. Math., Trans. Amer. Math. Soc.,J. Funct. Anal., J. Differential Equations, Ergodic Theory Dynam. Systems等国际知名刊物上发表论文40余篇。承担了国家自然科学基金优秀青年基金,国家自然科学基金面上项目等多项科研项目。
