Regulations for International Student Apartment in HFUT
一、总则 General Provisions
1、 这些规定的制定是为了确保留学生公寓和周边地区有一个安全和舒适的生活和学习环境。
These regulations are designed to ensure that the apartment is a safe and comfortable environment for living and learning.
2、这些规定适用于所有住在公寓里的留学生和来访者。
These regulations apply to all students and visitors in the apartment.
3、留学生管理办公室负责公寓的日常管理,同时留学生管理办公室负责补充这些规定。
The International Student Division is responsible for the daily management of apartment. Meanwhile, the International Student Division will take responsibility for the supplementation of these regulations.
4、学生应遵守中国政府法律、法规及学校的各项规章制度。不得在公寓内从事传教及与学生身份不相符的活动。
All the students living in the International Student Apartment should obey the laws, regulations and rules of Chinese government and HFUT. No conducts that are not suitable for a student’s status are allowed.
二、安全 Safety and Security
1、禁止在公寓房间和公共区域里点蜡烛和搭建电线。
It is not permitted to light candles or install electrical wiring in the rooms or public areas.
2、禁止在公寓里饲养任何宠物，如猫，狗，鸟等。
It is not permitted to keep any pets, such as cats, dogs, birds, etc. in the rooms or elsewhere in the apartment.
3、护照号码和银行卡等贵重物品应妥善保管。额外的钱应该存入银行。
Passport numbers, bank cards and valuables should be kept appropriately. Extra cash should be stored in the bank.
4、离开房间时，应锁好抽屉，柜子和门。
It is required to lock all drawers, cabinets and doors when away from the room.
5、禁止给房间增加或更换门锁。
It is not permitted to add, change or tamper with door locks.
6、妥善保管钥匙。钥匙丢失或被盗应该立即告知留学生管理办公室。同时留学生可以凭身份证明借钥匙进入自己房间。
The keys should be kept appropriately. . Lost or stolen keys must be reported immediately to the International Student Division. Meanwhile, students can borrow a key to their room with valid certificate.
7、禁止配钥匙和借钥匙与他人。
It is not permitted to duplicate keys and must not lend the keys to anyone else.
8、 禁止在公寓内使用或发放违禁药品。
It is not permitted to use or distribute illegal drugs in the apartment.
9、在公寓内会客，来访者23点之前应离开公寓。
If you meet the visiting guests, they should leave the apartment before 23:00.
10、调换房间或搬出公寓应告知留学生管理办公室。
If you wish to change room or move out of the apartment, you should report to the International Student Division.
11、禁止在公寓内堆放任何对健康或安全有害的易燃、易爆、容易腐蚀和有毒的物品。
It is not permitted to place any sort of combustible, explosive, corrosive or poisonous materials which may cause damage or constitute a threat to health and safety anywhere in or near the apartment areas.
12、禁止携带或储存对他人安全有威胁的刀或枪（包括仿真枪）。
It is not permitted to bring or store knives or guns (including replicas) or any other items which may threaten personal safety.
13、 禁止在公寓区点火或燃放烟花。
It is not permitted to light fires and set off fireworks anywhere in or near the apartment areas.
三、行为规范 Standards of Behavior
1、禁止大声喧哗和破坏他人的休息和学习。
It is not permitted to make loud noise and disruptive behavior which can disturb the rest and study of other residents.
2、禁止向窗外和门口扔任何物品。
It is not permitted to throw any items whatsoever out of windows and doors.
3、禁止传播黄色图片或散发任何反政府的材料。
It is not permitted to distribute pornography or any anti-government materials.
4、禁止任何赌博。
It is not permitted to gamble in the apartment.
四、其他规定 Miscellaneous Regulations
1、应保持公寓的干净和清洁。请勿在公共场所内随地吐痰、乱丢烟头、纸屑、果皮等，不要在墙壁、家具上刻画，共同维护好我们的生活环境。请勿把垃圾、纸屑、塑料袋等杂物投入厕所和下水道内，以免影响自己和他人的生活。请勿在公共场所乱涂乱画和随意张贴，不要将废弃物放置于走廊、通道、楼梯间及公共活动场所。阳台上不得悬挂有碍观瞻的物品。
Keep the rooms and apartment areas clean and tidy. It is not permitted to spit in the public. Please don’t litter in the public with cigarette ends, waste paper, etc. Please don’t scribble or nail on the walls, floors or furniture, etc. All students are expected to protect our environment. It is prohibited to throw garbage, wastepaper, plastic bags and other wastes into toilets and sewers in order not to cause troubles to yourself and others. It is prohibited to scribble and paste any posters in public places. It is also prohibited to pile any wastes in the corridors or any other public space. It is not allowed to hang anything that may be unsightly.
2、应该节约用水和用电，并确保在不需要时关闭电源和水龙头。学校对公寓内的用电给予补贴，公寓用电补贴额度为：120度/人·月（房间20度/人·月；公共区域100度/人·月）。当月用电超支部分由其本人自理，同时在公共区域内用电超支部分，由大家共同承担费用，电价标准为合肥市城市居民用电价格。
Use water and electricity sparingly and must ensure that all lights and water are switched off when not needed. The University provides the international students with an electricity subsidy，and the quota is 120kwh per person per month（the room 20 kwh per person per month; the public facilities 100 kwh per person per month）. Any extra consumption of electricity over the quota will be paid by the student residing in that room. Meanwhile any extra consumption of electricity over the quota in the public facilities will be paid by all the students residing in the room. The price for the extra consumption of electricity will be charged according to the existing price list for local residents.
3、禁止移动或重新摆放室内家具。
It is not permitted to remove or relocate items of furniture.
4、损坏物品，应按价赔偿。
Anyone who damages anything must compensate it according to the price.
5、交通工具（包括自行车）必须停放在指定的位置。
Vehicles (including bikes) must be parked or stored only within designated areas.
五、补充条款 Supplementary Regulations
1、破坏以上规定者，将按照留学生守则进行处理。
Anyone breaking one or more of these regulations will be subject to the HFUT Code of Discipline for International Students.
2、本规定解释权归留学生管理办公室所有。
HFUT International Student Division reserves the right of interpretation of these regulations.
