In this talk, I shall introduce our recent results on positive and spatially decaying solutions to the Gross-Pitaevskii equation with a harmonic potential, which give precisely asymptotic behavior of ground states for the energy critical nonlinearties and almost complete computations on the Morse index of positive singular solutions for the enrgy supercritical nonlinearities. This is a joint work with professors Dmitry E.Pelinovsky and Juncheng Wei.
报告人简介：
吴元泽，现任中国矿业大学数学学院教授（预聘）、博士生导师、数学系科研副主任，兼任美国数学会《Mathmatical Reviews》评论员。获第八届江苏省数学成就奖（全省八届累计共30位获奖人，逾1/3入选各类国家级人才计划），主持国家自然科学基金面上项目、青年基金、数学天元基金等纵向科研项目，在Math. Ann., J. Math. Pures Appl., J. Funct. Anal., Calc. Var. PDEs, J. London Math. Soc.等国际权威期刊发表论文多篇，入选中国矿业大学青年学术带头人、优秀青年骨干教师培养计划。
