This talk examines the reactive power supply of synchronous and hybrid power plants. It addresses the technical challenges involved in the mathematical verification of grid code requirements. An analytical load flow calculation method is presented to determine the reactive power supply at the point of connection. The method also accounts for the influence of a step-up transformer equipped with a tap changer. Experimental results are used to validate the calculations and emphasize the role of transformer tap-changers in enhancing reactive power capability.
报告人简介:
Wendelin Angermann received the Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Engineering from Graz University of Technology from 2018 to 2022, the Master's degree there from 2021 to 2024, and has been pursuing the PhD degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Engineering there since 2024. Since March 2024, he has been a Researcher at the Institute of Electrical Power Systems, Graz University of Technology, and has collaborated with relevant companies on reactive power supply in power plant operation. His research focuses on reactive power supply for power plants and related power system analyses and simulations.
