In this talk, we discuss ergodic properties of the geodesic flows on manifolds without conjugate points, which are important examples of nonuniformly hyperbolic dynamical systems. We will discuss the ergodicity of the Liouville measure, and then present the Patterson-Sullivan construction of the unique measure of maximal entropy of the geodesic flow. We also apply the ergodic properties of the measure of maximal entropy to the problem of counting closed geodesics.
报告人简介：
吴伟胜，厦门大学教授，博士生导师，2014年博士毕业于美国宾夕法尼亚州立大学，曾在北京大学进行博士后研究，研究方向为动力系统与遍历论。先后主持国家重点研发计划青年科学家项目，国家自然科学基金青年基金和面上项目，2023年入选国家高层次青年人才。目前在“Math. Ann.”,“Adv. Math.”,“Trans. Amer. Math. Soc.”，“Ergodic Theory Dynam. Systems”，“Journal d'Analyse Mathematique”等学术期刊上发表论文30余篇。
