报告简介:
Magnetic fusion is a fascinating technology for future energy generation. At the same time, it is also an exceptional physics, engineering and technology challenge. The materials in a fusion power plant will be subjected to extreme heat and particle loads. How to examine these materials? How to predict their lifetime? How to look inside the materials without destroying them? How to see every single atom? All those questions will be explained in a lecture on modern characterization techniques of fusion materials. Here you will get the information on how to learn and to examine the fusion materials “on your desk” and how to predict their future. Be a part of it!
