We explain an equivalence of the twisted super Yangian $/mathrm{Y}^{tw}/big(/mathfrak{osp}{M|N}/big)$ in different presentations, which is a coideal sub-superalgebra of the super Yangian of the general linear Lie superalgebra $gl{M|N}$. We introduce the quantum Berezinian $/mathfrak{B}^{tw}(u)$ for $/mathrm{Y}^{tw}/big(/mathfrak{osp}_{M|N}/big)$ and prove that the coefficients of $/mathfrak{B}^{tw}(u)$ generate its center. An explicit formulation of $/mathfrak{B}^{tw}(u)$ will be presented in terms of RTT generators. Moreover, we prove analogues of the Liouville theorem and quantum Sylvester theorem for the quantum Berezinian $/mathfrak{B}^{tw}(u)$. This talk is based on joint work with Y. Wang and H. Zhang.
